How we Perceive

Published by tchoppy at 12:14 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

For today’s topic I want to talk about perception. The world is perceived by how we view things. We perceive comments, activities, and actions through our thoughts and judgments. Yet really we don’t have the brainpower to understand what really is going on.

Say your boss seems quiet and distant when normally he’s chatty and happy going. You may think that your boss is mad at you, when in fact he is having trouble at home, etc. The way you perceive affects your world.

Dr. Hew Len, one of the founders of Self Identity Ho’oponopono, says that our brains can only handle 10-20 bits of information when there is millions of information flying around. So are you really going to trust the 10 to 20 bits of information you are picking up??

The world is inside you. Think the movie the Matrix. Every time you make a judgment, or conclusion, this is how you perceive the world. You are trusting a memory.

Instead of reacting, try to remember that whatever is bothering you isn’t really there. Everything is in the zero state, which means everything is coming from Love and is already perfect.

I know this is hard to do when you have emotions and your inner thoughts telling you different. But unless you change how you are reacting, you will never reach inspiration, because you’ll always be reacting to memories, which translates to you being stuck.

So for me, whenever I am having a bad day at work, or something isn’t going right, I try to remember that it isn’t real, and something inside me is causing it.

In my head, I say: I’m sorry for whatever I am doing inside myself to cause these problems at work, please erase them and transmute me back to zero. I’m sorry, please forgive me, thank you, I love you.

I than repeat the prayer as many times as I can. Because if I am not cleaning, I am judging or reacting, and trust me, it is easy to forget and slip back into that negative stream.

Well until than

Peace begins with me! T
